Come join us for our first annual "Brown Girls Rock: I Love Me" Summerfest! Witness brown girl magic and celebrate our brown skin girls. Dr. Tyaire will be present signing her latest children's book "Brown Skin Girl". There will be face painting, pony rides, bounce houses, cupcake decorating, painting, and more. Vendors of companies owned by brown skin girls will also be present for you to shop, make purchases, and enjoy different foods. Break out sessions for different age groups with discussions on loving yourself, self-esteem building, and confidence building with a licensed clinician. There will also be sessions on health and fitness with a certified personal trainer. See flyer for breakout session times. Come hangout and dance along to the tunes of DJ Jazzy Cee. You don't want to miss it!!

Admission $20.00 per child 3-17 years old
Included in admission:
- A signed copy of "Brown Skin Girl" book and "I Love Me: Words of affirmation for our girls" coloring book. Boys will receive "Brown Boy you are Loved"

- Girls only break out sessions
- Carnival foods: Cotton candy, popcorn, shaved ice, bottled water (Hotdogs, chips, and food from vendors will be available at an additional cost)
- 2 Parents and children under 3 admitted for free with this ticket but only includes activities, vendors, and carnival foods.
Once you purchase your admission, you will receive your entry tag and books upon arrival at the event. Parents and children under 3 will receive a separate entry tag at time of arrival.

Ebony Maddrey, LMSW is the founder of "Patchwork Human Services". Ebony is a licensed clinician who has worked in the field of mental health providing individual, family, and group therapy. She also has experience as an addictions counselor promoting family Ebony will be the lead presenter in all 3 age groups discussing self-love, self-confidence, and self-esteem.

Musulain Toomer is the reigning Mrs. Delaware America. Musulain is originally from the west coast of Africa and moved to the US at the age of 16. She is also a personal trainer and teaches Zuumba classes. Musulain will be speaking to our girls ages 8-17 about the importance of health and fitness and will also lead an event wide flash Zuumba session.

Michelle Washington is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of "Women of More" magazine. Her spirit of innovation helped launch and kick off the High Achievers Motivational Academy. An after school program designed for students K-12 that focused on Leadership, Academic Excellence, and Character Development. Michelle will be speaking to the mothers and teen girls ages 13-17.

Tierney is also the co-host of the CutsConvoCoffee podcast. Tierney will speak to the teen girls ages 13-17 about excelling in a male dominated industry and staying true to yourself

Lady Tawana is an advocate of human services and wellness for the longevity of life. Lady Tawana will be speaking with the little girls ages 3-7 yo at this event.
